I am committing to meditate at least 30 minutes every day in 2013. I was inspired by someone else who did this and has blogged about it.
This commitment is a gift to myself and to the world. I am choosing to do this as a way of committing to my own self care and well-being, and out of a desire to continue to expand my sense of compassion and connectedness, as well as an experiment in the benefits of meditation to satisfy my curiosity about what is possible. As I grow in my understanding of the challenges to sustaining daily practice through this experience, I hope to better help others overcome these challenges and discover the benefits of meditation. I also aspire to be a light to others through my own personal transformation.

For the rest of the year, the comments for this page will be open to sharing of experiences, challenges, and support from those participating. If we have more than a few participants, I will put up a private Facebook community for us to communicate more easily.
